INGREDIENTS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HAIR SHAMPOO

Nitrosol 1/8 kg
Caustic soda ¼ kg
Texapon ½ kg
Sulphonic acid ½ litre
Soda ash ½ litres
Glycerine 4 tablespoon
Vitamin E 1 teaspoon
Citric acid 1 tablespoon
STPP 2 tablespoon
Water 8-10 litres
Fragrance as desired
Colour as desired
Preservative few drops

PROCEDURE

Step 1

Mix nitrosol in 6 liters of water and stir continuously

Step 2

Add ¼ litres of your fermented caustic soda to the nitrosol , this is to thicken it. You may have to check my post on bleach production to learn how to ferment the soda click here to read it.

Step 3

In a separate bowl mix texapon and sulphoric acid together and add to the initial content

Step 4

Add your glycerine and stir

Step 5

Add the fermented soda ash and stir

Step 6

Soak the STPP in 1 litre of water and add to the initial solution

Step 7

In a separate container dissolve the citric acid with 500ml of water, add to the initial solution and stir

Step 8

Add the vitamin E and stir properly

Step 9

Add the fragrance and stir

Step 10

Dissolve the colour with little quantity of water and add to the initial solution and stir continuously until it is uniform.

Allow it to settle then package for sale.

HOW TO PRODUCE NATURAL HAIR SHAMPOO

INGREDIENTS

Natural black soap example Dudu osun 1 tablet
Olive oil or coconut oil 2 tablespoons
Honey glycerine 2 tablespoon
Tea tree, peppermint or eucalyptus oil 5-6 drops
Rose water 1 tablespoon(optional)

PROCEDURE

Dissolved the soap in a bowl with room temperature water
Add the olive oil, into the bowl
Pour the honey glycerine, eucalyptus and stir everything together.
Package in air tight container for use
Store in a cool dry place

PRODUCTION OF SETTING LOTION

CHEMICALS FOR 15 LITRES

Nitrosol 1/8 kg
P.G (Propylene glycol) 60ml
Glycerine 4 tablespoon
Water 6-10 litres
Formalin 1 teaspoon
Colour as desired

PROCEDURE

– Dissolve nitrosol into a measured quantity of water.
– Add propylene glycol and stir
– Add glycerine and stir very well
– Add formalin and stir properly
– Add colour and thoroughly stir
Then package and label it.

NOTE

The colour must be water base, it should be added according to your taste. P.G nourishes the hair.

MARKETING

Start by producing to people around you then proceed by supplying to hair dressing saloons, barbing saloon, individuals etc.

Package your product in a classical way and supply to shops. However if you want to take it further so that it can be amongst cosmetics in the market, supermarkets and other bigger shops you have to go on a full-scale. Then NAFDAC certificate will be a must.
