Here are the new Unified USSD codes for all mobile Networks in Nigeria.
- Recharge credit *311#
- Check balance *310#
- Data plan balance *323#
- Data plan *312#
- Call centre 300
- Stop service *305#
- Borrow services *303#
- Share services *321#
- Porting services 3232
- DND 2442
- National Identity number (NIN) verification and NIN-SIM Linkage *996#
As it stands old codes are longer in use as such isn’t working any more. The codes have been unified to work on all networks because NCC has merged all the Mobile Network Codes together effecting from 17th of May, 2023. To check account balance on any network use *310#. The old codes’; *556# for MTN, *126# for GLO, *123# for AIRTEL are now invalid.
Change is the only thing that is said to be constant who knows whether it will still change tomorrow whereby every mobile network would adopt its own code. For now lets go ahead with the new changes. Maybe, it will make things a lot easier so we that have to be cramming different numbers on our head.
Those who uses apps or banks to load their phones wouldn’t even care much about the changes as it is not necessary. I didn’t know people were having difficulty crediting their phones through USSD until I read about it on media.
I have not checked my phone balance until now. Let me use the Unified USSD code on my glo and mtn for what it is.
You are the best man
