Earn millions in Sesame seed storage

There is nothing as profiting or more rewarding like storage business. I am talking from experience.  When we were in Yola, my sister was into full time food storage business. We were storing; maize and beans in drums and bags. We had a building with 2 stores, well ventilated for food storage. This time around she is storing palm oil because of her location. In this post, I will be sharing with you about sesame seed storage. Few weeks ago, I wrote a post on Sesame farming. In fact, during the next planting season my focus will be on Sesame cultivation because, it seems to be the new oil well.

Food storage business

When I did a post on food storage, I mentioned sesame seeds also kmow as beni seeds. You can do well to read the article.  Storage business is very profitable,  you can earn 💯 or more during off season. It is not compulsory you have to wait until off season before you can sell your grains or produce. The truth remains whiatever time you choose to sell there is always profit to make. But profit depends on the time, as the season advances so the profits too.

The best time to store Sesame seeds

The best time to buy beni seeds for storage is August-October after that the price would start skyrocketing.  The price of sesame seed per bag now is between 130k-150k. Very soon it will be between 170k-200k.

Profits in sesame seed storage

Let’s say you bought 100 bags when a bag was 130k which is 13m and you sold each 200k, which is 20m. Therefore,  20m-13m=7m. Let’s say other expenses like logistics, space and labour was 1m. Then 7m-1m=6m. It Therefore means, you made a whooping 6m within a space of 3 months. That’s cool, if you ask me. The more bags you trade the more profit you make.

In sesame seed storage,  it is very important to store your grains properly. Store the grains in a cool dry place. Fumigate the place before storage. And let the seed be at least 90% dried before storage so insects doesn’t invade it.

Buyers are everywhere, you can sell to exporters; some are in Abuja, Lagos and Kano while others move about looking for sesame farmers.
