- But a service charge of #20 fee only is required (it would be deducted from your phone credit balance).

If you are an MTN subscriber dial *785#, you will be given option to insert your 11 digit number NIN. You will get a response telling you that your NIN has been linked. In case, you didn’t get any notification keep doing it until you confirm. National Identification Management Commission would have to verify the NIN you sent to MTN first.
